Dokra deer set. Handcrafted metal sculptures shaped through one of India’s oldest surviving metal casting traditions.

Crafted using the ancient Dokra art form, the deer figurines are known for their elegant forms, intricate detailing, and raw handcrafted textures. Symbolising grace, gentleness, and harmony with nature, each sculpture is created through the traditional lost-wax casting technique where every piece is individually moulded by hand, ensuring that no two are exactly alike. The earthy metallic finish and tribal-inspired aesthetic bring warmth, character, and artisanal richness to contemporary spaces.

The Sculptures Crafted using brass through the traditional lost-wax casting process, a centuries-old technique where a wax model is first shaped by hand and layered with clay. Once heated, the wax melts away, leaving a cavity into which molten metal is poured. After cooling, the outer clay mould is broken to reveal the final form, ensuring that every piece remains unique and unrepeatable.

The intricate patterns, elongated proportions, and textured surfaces are characteristic of Dokra craftsmanship, reflecting the skill and precision of generations of tribal metal artisans.
