Materials + Care

The Madur Grass Table Runner
Handwoven using Madur grass, a naturally occurring reed known for its durability, flexibility, and smooth texture. Harvested, dried, and woven by skilled artisans, the grass creates a lightweight yet sturdy textile with a distinctive natural finish. The weaving tradition has been practised in the Medinipur region for generations, transforming a local natural resource into functional home décor.
Wipe gently with a dry cloth. Keep away from excessive moisture and store flat when not in use.

The Zardozi Coasters
Handcrafted using the traditional Zardozi embroidery technique, where metallic threads, beads, sequins, and decorative elements are meticulously stitched by hand to create intricate patterns and rich textures. The detailed surface work lends a sense of elegance and craftsmanship while protecting tabletops during everyday use.
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid direct contact with water and excessive moisture.

The Meenakari Tealight Holder
Crafted from copper and finished through the traditional glass enamelling process. Finely powdered glass is carefully applied to the copper surface and fired at temperatures between 700°C and 900°C, allowing the glass to fuse permanently with the metal. This technique creates vibrant colours, intricate detailing, and a durable finish while also helping protect the copper from oxidation. When illuminated, the holder casts a warm glow that highlights the richness of the enamel work.
Clean gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and impact on the enamel surface.
